In a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast that aired on YouTube, the veteran rapper turned podcaster dropped a bombshell, sending shockwaves through the hip-hop community. It seems Joe Budden, known for his outspoken nature and lyrical prowess, is contemplating a return to the rap game.

The catalyst for this revelation was none other than Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s latest track, “Vultures.” Budden expressed his admiration for the beat, describing it as something that “fills his music appetite.” However, the intrigue escalated when he hinted at using this newfound inspiration to address his critics and rivals who have crossed his path.

In the podcast, around the 1:45-minute mark, Budden declared, “Don’t worry, I called Just Blaze the other day. I’m done talking about these rappers. I’ll do it myself, I’ll do it myself.” Co-host Lamar “Ice” Burney probed for clarification, prompting Budden to explain his plan to explore Just Blaze’s beats and create a powerful 15-minute record, available for purchase at a tantalizing $20.

Despite the excitement, Budden was quick to temper expectations. He emphasized that nothing concrete is in the works yet, acknowledging the reality that both he and Just Blaze have “real jobs.” Still, the prospect of a collaboration seemed to tickle his creative instincts, with a chuckle as he shared, “This works out perfectly, great.”

Fans, always hungry for new developments, have been buzzing on social media. Some even credited Budden for the recent release of Drake’s project, “For All the Dogs: Scary Hours Edition (Scary Hours 3).” The theory circulating among fans is that Budden’s earlier criticism of Drake’s work spurred the artist to prove his detractors wrong with fresh music.

In 2023, after Drake’s announcement, a fan commented, “Joe Budden really forced Drake to get back in his duffy and make another attempt to beat the allegations that he’s gotten lazy.” This statement reflects the ongoing saga between Budden and Drake, which previously escalated with a public exchange on Instagram, featuring not only verbal jabs but also warnings from hip-hop mogul Birdman.

As the hip-hop world eagerly awaits Joe Budden’s potential return to the mic, the air is filled with anticipation and speculation. Could this be the comeback fans have been yearning for, or will it remain a tantalizing what-if in the realm of hip-hop dreams? Only time will tell if Budden’s lyrical prowess will once again take center stage.
