The ongoing legal battle between Megan Thee Stallion and blogger Milagro Cooper, better known online as Milagro Gramz, has entered another chapter as Cooper seeks to delay payment of a court-ordered judgment while pursuing an appeal.
The dispute stems from a lawsuit filed by Megan Thee Stallion in 2024, in which the rapper alleged that Cooper participated in a campaign to spread false information and defamatory content related to the highly publicized shooting case involving Tory Lanez.
According to the lawsuit, Megan’s legal team argued that Cooper amplified conspiracy theories surrounding the case and circulated misleading narratives that damaged the rapper’s reputation. The complaint further alleged that Cooper worked with individuals connected to Lanez and promoted content favorable to him while attacking Megan’s credibility in the public sphere.
Cooper has denied wrongdoing throughout the proceedings and has challenged numerous claims made against her.
Recent reports sparked confusion after suggesting that a $75,000 judgment against Cooper had been reduced or altered. However, court updates indicate that the judgment remains in place. Legal journalist Meghann Cuniff reported that the $75,000 award has not been lowered and that Cooper is instead seeking permission from the court to postpone payment until the appeals process is completed.
In response, Megan’s attorneys have opposed the request. According to court filings, the rapper’s legal team argues that if Cooper is allowed to delay payment, she should at minimum be required to post a bond equal to the amount of the judgment to ensure the funds remain secured while the appeal is pending.
The filings also take issue with Cooper’s request for relief, referencing allegations and content that were central to the original case. Megan’s attorneys contend that the blogger should not be excused from the financial consequences of the judgment while continuing to challenge the verdict.
At this stage, the court has not yet issued a final ruling on Cooper’s request to delay payment. As a result, the judgment remains active while the legal process continues.
The case represents another significant development in the broader fallout surrounding the public controversies that followed Tory Lanez’s conviction. With appeals and additional motions still being filed, the legal dispute between Megan Thee Stallion and Milagro Gramz appears far from over.
For now, the key takeaway is that the $75,000 judgment remains in effect, even as Cooper seeks additional time and legal remedies through the appeals process.
