BigXthaPlug, Nettspend, BKTHERULA & More: Hip-Hop’s October 30 New Music Friday Is Here

New Music Friday is bringing another wave of fresh hip-hop releases, and October 30 has something for listeners across different corners of the culture. From BigXthaPlug’s hard-hitting Southern rap to Nettspend’s underground energy and BKTHERULA’s distinctive sound, this week’s lineup offers plenty of new music to add to the rotation.

One of the biggest releases on the schedule is BigXthaPlug’s BETTER OVER TIME. The Texas rapper has continued building momentum with his commanding delivery and blend of Southern hip-hop influences. His latest project gives fans another opportunity to hear how his sound is developing as his profile continues to grow.

Underground rap fans also have a reason to pay attention, with Nettspend dropping va creeper. Known for his unconventional approach and connection to the newer generation of internet-driven rap, Nettspend has become one of the names pushing underground sounds into wider conversations.

Meanwhile, BKTHERULA arrives with N5ON, bringing her own creative identity to a release day filled with different styles. Her presence on the list adds another dimension to a lineup that stretches beyond traditional mainstream rap.

On the singles front, Conway the Machine is scheduled to deliver “Diggwutumsayn!” The Griselda veteran has built his reputation on gritty storytelling, sharp lyricism, and uncompromising bars. His new track should be one for listeners who appreciate the more traditional, lyric-focused side of hip-hop.

Other releases on the schedule include Dominic Fike’s HOW TO QUIT SMOKING, Coi Leray’s “Milk N Cookies” featuring Lucky Daye, Slimesito and evilgiane’s EVILSLIME 2, Sleepy Hallow’s “Dirty Dan,” and Curren$y, Harry Fraud, and Rome Streetz’s “The Telethon.”

There is no single sound dominating this Friday. Instead, the release slate highlights hip-hop’s range, connecting established voices with underground artists and newer names building their audiences.

Whether you’re looking for heavyweight rap, experimental sounds, or melodic collaborations, October 30 offers plenty to explore. The weekend playlist is officially getting a refresh.
