Wack 100 is pushing back against the criticism aimed at Playboi Carti following the chaotic altercation involving LUCKI’s camp at ComplexCon.
The incident became one of the biggest stories surrounding the festival after LUCKI was reportedly injured during a confrontation involving members of Carti’s crew. The Chicago rapper was seen with a laceration on his neck following the incident, leading to widespread speculation about what actually happened.
Carti was reportedly present at the scene, but there has been no confirmation that he personally participated in the physical altercation. Despite that distinction, the rapper has faced significant backlash online as details surrounding the confrontation continue to develop.
During a recent Clubhouse conversation, Wack 100 defended Carti when another participant criticized the rapper over the situation. Wack firmly rejected the idea that Carti was directly involved, while the conversation also turned into a broader argument about how the dispute between the artists began.
According to reports cited by HotNewHipHop, the confrontation allegedly started between LUCKI and Destroy Lonely before escalating into a larger fight. Reports have also indicated that multiple people were injured during the incident.
The circumstances remain unclear, and authorities are reportedly investigating the matter. The Los Angeles Police Department is said to be looking into the incident as an attempted murder investigation, although the full details and circumstances have yet to be established.
Carti has not publicly addressed the altercation directly. However, some fans interpreted comments he made during his ComplexCon performance as a possible reference to LUCKI. During the set, Carti reportedly shouted a line about making it this far before adding a reference to “YVL business.”
Meanwhile, LUCKI has indicated to a fan that he is doing okay following the incident.
The situation has added another layer of tension to the relationship between the artists and their respective circles. With conflicting accounts circulating online, the circumstances surrounding the ComplexCon fight remain a developing story.
For now, Wack 100 is making his position clear: he does not believe Playboi Carti should be held responsible for an altercation he says the rapper did not participate in.
