The moment also caught Drake’s attention.
According to HotNewHipHop, Drake liked an Instagram video documenting the street-sign unveiling, quietly showing support for Kanye and his family during the meaningful occasion. While the gesture may seem small, it carries some weight considering the lengthy history between the two artists.
Drake and Ye spent years on opposite sides of one of hip-hop’s most talked-about rivalries. Their tension became especially visible between 2018 and 2021, while Drake was also caught up in his feud with Pusha T. Kanye publicly addressed Drake numerous times during that period, adding another layer to an already complicated relationship.
Eventually, however, the two artists put their differences aside publicly. Drake and Kanye even shared the stage at the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, marking one of the most unexpected moments in their relationship.
