It’s been a minute since Drake released a solo studio album. His last full-length effort, For All The Dogs, arrived in 2023, but that hardly means the Toronto superstar has been quiet. From Scary Hours 3 to his headline-grabbing lyrical battle with Kendrick Lamar, and his collaborative project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR, Drake has remained firmly in the spotlight.
Now, anticipation is building around his rumored upcoming album, ICEMAN. The 6ix God recently fueled speculation after posting an intriguing image to his Instagram Story: what appeared to be a Fuju Ice House truck spotted in Japan, alongside an icy keychain featuring his Pinocchio-inspired character — a symbol many fans believe represents subtle commentary aimed at the industry, and possibly even Kendrick.

The cryptic visuals immediately sent fans into detective mode. Some are theorizing that the next ICEMAN livestream episode could take place in Japan, adding an international twist to the rollout. Drake previously hinted that at least one more livestream episode would precede the album’s official release, with the third installment having dropped back in September.
Despite the lack of a confirmed release date, the timing could be strategic. With artists like J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, Baby Keem, and Don Toliver already making major 2026 statements, the runway may be clearing for Drake’s next move.
Meanwhile, his dominance hasn’t slowed. Drake recently became the first artist to surpass 300 songs with over 100 million Spotify streams and was named the highest-selling rapper globally in 2025 by the IFPI. Whenever ICEMAN finally lands, it won’t just be another release — it will mark the start of Drake’s next chapter.
