50 Cent has never been shy about his long-running issues with Diddy, and his online trolling has only intensified amid Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles. Every so often, Fif widens the scope and takes aim at members of Diddy’s family. This week, that target was Christian “King” Combs.
On January 26, 50 Cent posted a clip on Instagram showing King Combs performing onstage. In the video, King attempts to spark a “Bad Boy” chant, but the crowd response appears muted. Naturally, 50 couldn’t resist adding commentary, captioning the post with a jab about King’s timing being “a little off.”
King, however, didn’t let the moment slide. He jumped straight into the comments to respond, firing back with shade of his own. According to No Jumper, the 27-year-old suggested that 50’s fixation on him stems from lingering personal resentment, referencing 50’s past relationship with Daphne Joy.
That reference ties back to a lawsuit filed in March 2024 by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against Diddy, which controversially named Daphne Joy. The suit alleged that she accepted money from Diddy in exchange for sex work—claims she has strongly denied. In a public statement at the time, Joy called the allegations “100% false” and “character assassination,” adding that she was retaining legal counsel to pursue remedies against both Jones and his attorney.
Daphne Joy, an actress, model, and entrepreneur, dated 50 Cent beginning in 2011. The two were together for about a year before splitting and later welcomed their son, Sire, in September 2012.
As the back-and-forth shows, the tension between 50 Cent and Diddy’s camp continues to spill over in public, with King Combs now making it clear that he’s willing to respond when he’s pulled into the crossfire.
