The Game is keeping his momentum going with another Gangsta Grillz release set to drop this Friday, adding to an already stacked release week. The project follows last month’s Every Movie Needs a Trailer, his first-ever collaboration with DJ Drama.

According to music journalist Elliott Wilson, the upcoming mixtape will feature appearances from Conway the Machine, Benny the Butcher, Boosie Badazz, Dom Kennedy, Eric Bellinger, and Swizz Beatz. Wilson revealed the lineup while speaking with The Game in a new interview for Uproxx.
During the conversation, Wilson pointed out that Game and Drama had never worked together before Every Movie Needs a Trailer. The rapper admitted the realization surprised both of them. “That’s exactly how it happened. We laughed about it,” Game explained. “I was like, ‘How we never did a tape?’ I sent him joints that weekend. He thought I was playing. Then he heard them and was like, ‘Let me cook.’”

Game went on to praise Drama’s impact on the music, saying the Gangsta Grillz touch elevates everything. “Once Drama gets on it, it turns into something else. Gangsta Grillz makes good music feel classic. And even subpar sh*t sounds official. So with this music? It was a wrap.”
He also shared how strongly he feels about the new tape, admitting he’s been listening to it nonstop—something he rarely does with his own work. “Even the usual trolls are like, ‘Yeah… but this tape is fire,’” he said. One standout moment for him was simply hearing DJ Drama’s signature ad-libs. “It took me right back to 2005. That’s brotherhood. He’s been solid for over 20 years. That’s legendary.”
Every Movie Needs a Trailer, released December 5, featured guest appearances from Eric Bellinger, Jeremih, and O.T. Genasis across its 18-track run.
With Friday’s release, The Game’s new Gangsta Grillz project will arrive alongside other highly anticipated drops, including A$AP Rocky’s long-awaited album Don’t Be Dumb and a possible release from NBA YoungBoy with Slime Cry.
It’s shaping up to be one of the busiest—and loudest—Fridays in hip-hop this year.
