RIP Voletta Wallace: Biggie’s Mother Passes Away at 78

The hip-hop world is mourning the loss of Voletta Wallace, mother of the late Christopher Wallace, known as The Notorious B.I.G. She passed away at 78 from natural causes.

TMZ confirmed her passing on Friday (February 21), stating that she was in hospice care in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Biggie’s brand, Invisible Bully, paid tribute on Instagram, calling her “our matriarch” and acknowledging her dedication to preserving Biggie’s legacy.

The heartfelt post also expressed gratitude for the love and prayers sent their way, promising to share ways to honor Ms. Wallace in the near future.
