Metro Boomin’s remarkable journey into philanthropy began seven years ago with the inception of his “Single Moms Are Superheroes” campaign. This year, the campaign underwent a poignant transformation, rebranded as the “Leslie Joanne Single Mothers And Caregivers Appreciation Day” in honor of Metro’s late mother, who tragically passed away in 2022.
December 14 now stands as “Leland Metro Boomin Wayne Day,” a day dedicated to celebrating Metro’s impact on the community and his commitment to social causes.
Teaming up with Amazon Access and Rung for Women, Metro’s charity orchestrated an event centered on empowering single mothers through career coaching and skills training. The initiative underscores Metro Boomin’s commitment to fostering meaningful change at the grassroots level.
