The accuser, known as Jane Doe, filed a lawsuit on December 6, claiming that Diddy sexually assaulted her when she was just a 17-year-old high school student. This follows a series of lawsuits initiated by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, which were swiftly settled. Two more women, one publicly and another under the pseudonym Jane Doe, joined the legal battle, the latter also accusing R&B singer Aaron Hall alongside Diddy.
Responding to the accusations, Diddy took to social media with an emphatic statement in all caps: “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, I HAVE SAT SILENTLY AND WATCHED PEOPLE TRY TO ASSASSINATE MY CHARACTER, DESTROY MY REPUTATION AND MY LEGACY.”
He continued, passionately denying the allegations and asserting his determination to fight for his name, family, and the truth. The statement emphasized his refusal to succumb to what he perceives as a smear campaign, labeling the accusations as the product of individuals seeking a quick payday.
According to Variety, the lawsuit accuses Diddy and former Bad Boy Records exec Harve Pierre of gang raping a 17-year-old girl in 2003. The victim alleges a harrowing sequence of events, including being flown from Detroit to New York City, provided with copious amounts of alcohol and drugs, and ultimately assaulted by Diddy over a bathroom sink while in and out of consciousness. She also claims to have been raped by Pierre and a third man.
The legal complaint, filed in New York State Federal Court, includes blurred-out photos of the victim within Combs’ old Daddy’s House studio and sitting on the mogul’s lap.
